Please find below answers to frequently asked questions we receive at Las Color.

How long will my service take?

We are a team of professionals here at Las Color.

This level of quality and care takes time.

Usually, our colouring appointments are approximately 3- 5 hours depending on what you are having done.

You could be with us for 2 hours, and it could be up to 5 or 6.

We will advise time frame during consultation.

It will be worth it, trust us.

Where should I park?

All day parking is located on Tuwharetoa street right next to "McDonalds" or on TeHeu Heu Street behind "BP" Service station.

Silent appointments

It means a lot to us to know that you are as comfortable as possible. 

 

Silent appointments are great for days when you are feeling feeling tired, drained, or just wish to relax and avoid conversation.

 

During a "Silent appointment" your hair stylist will still greet you warmly and consult about your hair as needed, then we will allow you to relax and enjoy your time out.

The only questions asked will be related to your service.

Simply include "Silent appointment" in your booking notes if booking online, or request "Silent appointment" over the phone when booking, even if you are a regular client,  no questions asked.

Your relaxation time is important to us, and your peace is priceless 

What products do you use?

We use a range of styling products from "Redken" based on the look you would like to achieve.

Our stylists will talk you through each product we use to ensure that you can achieve the same results at home.

Can I have a haircut/colour only without a blow dry?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have a hair cut without a blow dry. We need to see the cut when its dry so that we can asses whether it needs extra cutting and texturising. Cutting hair dry is where we get to personalise your style and ensure that it is perfect.

A blow dry is always included with a colour service as we need to asses the colour dry to ensure you are satisfied with the result.

What should I wear?

You will wear a cape throughout your appointment, so your clothing will be covered, and we certainly take every effort to avoid spills and leaks. However, we recommend that you do not wear anything expensive or valuable to your appointment at Las Color, just incase.

We will cover the cost of any damaged pieces of clothing.

Is a trim the same price as a hair cut?

Yes, all hair cuts start from $71 and accurate pricing is given during consultation.

No shows/Cancellations

-In the event that you are unable to make your booking, we kindly ask that you provide us with 24  or more hours notice.

-If you are running late to your appointment please be advised that we may not be able to perform your complete service.

-No shows will be asked to pay a deposit prior to booking their next service.

We appreciate your understanding the late cancellations and no-shows are a loss of business to us.
